Passion

Born and raised in Kentucky, I studied Mathematics in college and received my Masters of Divinity in Christian Education. However, Bloomington has been my home for the better part of the past 16 years. I spent most of my career as a full-time ordained youth pastor at 3 different churches, including St. Mark's United Methodist Church here in Bloomington. After a couple of years at a church in Kentucky, I realized two things: 1 - I was 40 and getting too old to be leading a youth ministry and; 2 - Bloomington was home.

When my family and I returned to Bloomington, I started working as an interior and exterior house painter. After 2 years full-time, I started working as an Office Manager for a local law firm and continued to paint residential interiors on the side. Now after 6 years of perfecting the craft, I've decided to start my own painting business.

Why? Two reasons: After more than 27 years of marriage, my wife and I are now empty-nesters with two children in college. So, the timing is right to begin a new chapter in our lives by doing something I really enjoy ... painting. Most importantly though, I enjoy providing a needed service to people in the community and making them smile because of their beautiful new rooms. It is my desire to bring that same smile to your face.
